What a difference, I just installed the BD Diesel steering box stabilizer and I have no steering wheel shake when I hit a bump, man this thing drives like a sports car. I have had the Kore suspension on my truck for around 3 years now and this is a huge addition to the system, the guys down at Kore should have developed this and added it to their system it sure tightens up the steering. Oo.

I have been wondering about this kit myself. Boss saw it in the Diesel Power magazine. Does it take care of the steering wander? Did you put this on a 2nd Generation truck? Would really like to know.

I got one of those kits, not a BD, and was told by the guy who sold it to me that all our trucks should have one. :-laf From a vendors point of view, he is dreaming because you aren't going to take a chance on something you don't know about. After the install I was impressed it really tightened up wander I didn't know I had. The real improvement was when I put the 5er on the truck, if you haul anything get one. For sure, one of the better upgrades for our trucks.

This is a 2004. 5 truck and this is a simple install and is one of the most needed for this truck, This is a major improvement and I would spend the $250 with shipping any day of the week for this add on.

I am probably going to go for it on the kit. I have read a lot about the steering problems and people dumping lots of money and time on the front suspension. New steering box, 3rd generation stabilizer, lukes link on and on. Scary.

I took my trailer in for an alignment and asked the guys what they thought of my DSS.

They really liked the DSS. They also noted that the Chevy's benefit from a stabilizer for drag link and pitman arm, we are not alone.
