2001 w/ 6 spd

My dad just got a 2001 3500 4WD with the 6 speed manual. The transmission and transfer case are a little low on oil and he needs to know what goes in them. My 2007 uses ATF +4, but I told him I thought his transmission used 75-90 gear oil and ATF in the transfer case. I told him I knew where to go to find out for sure, though! Am I right in what he needs?

You are correct for the transfer case, but the transmission takes a different oil. I think it's syncromesh? I use Redline MTL myself. There are many threads debating which is the best oil for the NV5600.
