There are several fluids... depends on what you can find on the shelf.
The easiest will most likely be Pennzoil Synchromesh... its a direct replacement for the OE oil...
Amsoil MTF is another, although I didn't have good luck with it... about 10k, and it was shifting horribly. A UOA indicated it had sheared, which caused it to become thinner... thinner fluids don't seem to work well in my trans.
Royal Purple Synchromesh is another, but it is the thinnest of the synchromesh oils out there... and that caused it to be the worst performer in my trans. I have found some Napa's carry RP products. In a colder climate, this normally "thinner" oil might be better?
Redline MTL is the correct offering from them for the synchromesh-type fluids... its also the thickest, and performs the best in MY NV5600. It has performed the best, for the longest, of any of the above mentioned fluids in my case... I order it from Summit Racing.
I have also mixed weights, for better performance. Not for everyone, but it worked for me.
I am currently running RL MTL, with around 25k on this fill... still performing well. Probably will drain it and refill with Pennzoil when I remove the FastCoolers since its cheap.
