I have a theory that every year, maybe two, they recycle the same news stories, including weather. Out west, we get the fire stories. Hmm... dry as a bone, high winds, idiots with cigarette butts or maybe some dry lightning. They make it sound like a fire is a big surprise. Same when it snows. Winter at 4500' next to a mountain range. OMG! It's snowing! Even two or three inches is a "story". I also like how it's always the storm's fault that some dip weed crashed his car.
