looking for a programmer that I can turn rpm down when I take the truck to a shop

so the SOB'S can't joy ride it

thats all I want it for

when i take our truck in for work that I can't do i tell the guy at the desk if the truck needs to have a test drive i want to be in the truck

with the guy

and what do i hear my truck spinning tires as it drives away

see that makes me mad as hell

what do I need that will turn the truck down

It's a lot of money to pay for just a governor feature but the Smarty has a 1/2 power program that would do the trick. It also reads & clears codes, adjusts for different tire sizes & has a number of high performance programs that you might find addictive.

could you see the look on the guys face after you turn the speed limiter

down all the way

and rpn down all the way

I LOVE IT!!!!

and he jumps in your Oo. truck and all he can get out of it is 25 mphOo.

THAT WILL TEACH THE SOB'S

Yeah, and the time after that you take it to the dealer you could use the security setting on the Smarty that allows the truck to start but dies when accelerator is touched!!!

Godspeed,
Trent

now that's bad *** i LIKE THE LAST POST

it's a shame when you go to a service center and see burn out marks in the parking lot

I see it all the time by the service bays

most people drop off there car and come back when it's done

never knowing that the little SOB

hot roded it around

I never drop off a car we stay however long it takes and I stand outside the bay so when the guy jumps in and starts to back it out

i tap on the glass open the door

and I jump in

I had to tell one kid at circut city

he was installing a radio in our explorer

it was so bad this kid was wild

i told him I SWEAR TO GOD I'M GOING CRACK YOUR HEAD OPEN IF YOU DON'T DRIVE THIS CAR RITE

this kid was over the top and I was in the car

SO DON'T DROP YOUR CAR OFF

IT HAPPENDS ALL THE TIME

AND THE SERVICE MANAGER WILL LOOK AT YOU AND SAY

WELL I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU in a way he is rite you are the dumb SOB that handed over your keys and walked away HELLO!!!

it's like this if they don't like OR WANT you to stand and keep an eye on your car than YOU ARE AT THE WRONG SHOP

DRIVE AWAY

you can unplug the adrenaline module with one clip and have it back to stock settings

you can get gauges and another ~100HP more than the smarty for your driving pleasure for about $100 more

For sure, taping the pump will increase power potential. The Smarty doesn't do that, but he was asking about cutting the power for a "valet" mode to keep hot rodding service jockies from abusing his truck. The Adrenaline doesn't have a half power program that I'm aware of & it doesn't have a speed limiter you can set at 15 mph does it?

Ok Guys What Do I Need

You Know What I'm Looking To Do

The only tuner I know of that you can tune below stock is the Smarty. Personally, I've never used the 1/2 power program but it is there. It also has a speed limiter that can be set any where you want down to around 25 mph. Like I already said, it's a lot of money to spend on a governor but it does have other features you might like. Check it out here: MADS Electronics - Smarty - CaTCHER - Smarty03

I have used the half power quite a bit in the winter with my 2wd truck. It keeps me form driving sideways (-:

With the REVO software I can now have advanced timing at half power (-:

Buy the smarty, you will be happy.

John

I'll chime in here for the Smarty, too. Love mine, although I haven't had to use the 1/2 power setting yet. If your state does emissions testing on diesels this setting helps there. The number 3 setting is great for towing and anything above that is for when you're not towing. Have fun!
