My nephew has a friend with a 93 truck that needs a pump. Does anyone know how many model year pumps if any will fit his truck? He is trying to expand his options and maybe save some money.

all 89 to 93 dodge pumps are the same .

Id assume and prior to 89 6bt cummins with the v8 pumps are the same .

if you want to change out fuel lines and timing cover you can use any 94 to 98 12 v pump as well on that engine but its more work involved

there are a few differences between the 114 early pumps and the later pumps spec'd on the I/C trucks... but you'll find that out.

There were 3 different CPL's that covered the 89-93 years; 804, 1351, 1379. The injection pumps may be different, I don't know, maybe a Cummins or Bosch shop could tell you.

ALL THE SAME....wrong!

WRONG WRONG WRONG ! The KSB valves are totally different. the electrical is opposite on the inner cooled 91. 5 to 93's... the fuel lines are different as well

The intercooled pumps will interchange with no extra work. I happened to have 2 CPL 1579 (93) engines with the CPL 1351 (91. 5-92) pumps on them. I have been told that the later pumps are the best, as they have all the internal updates the earlier ones didnt have.

The CPL 804 pumps can be made to work with the newer trucks, but mysteryman is right- the KSB and lines are different. Delivery valve holders will need to be changed to make it work right.
