Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) fuel shut-off solenoid

I purchased one from Larry B's a few months back, put it in my garage and now the instructions have vaporized! How do I install this thing? How long does it take?

It is a 10-15 minute install depending on how quickly you work. Start by unplugging the electrical connector. Then you need to disconnect the plunger arm from the fuel arm. If I remember correctly, this is a matter of undoing a cotter pin. There are two metric bolts which hold the solenoid down and you just undo these. The install is the opposite of the removal. I think that you will find it an easy swap once you have looked at it.

I don't know exactly what comes with the new solenoid. It is possible that it comes with the new linkage for the back of the pump but I have never seen this wear out. The system is quite simple and I think that you will be able to see what everything is using a good flashlight.
