just keep in mind that stuff is less expensive for a reason. imo go with the original composite manifold... CFM+

Xtreme you are right. I contacted CFM+ about these and here is what he said:

Roto-Molding: Placing plastic beads or powder in a mold and heating tumbling the mold to coat the inside.



Potential Problems:



Inconsistent wall thickness: Thick and thin spots. Inconsistent part to part.

Molded in aluminum mounting base and inserts: The aluminum inserts and aluminum base expand and contract with temperature very differently than the roto-molded plastic. When in use on the truck the *&* intake will be constantly heat cycling and under internal pressure and external forces from the engine rocking that tugs on the inner-cooler pipe. These temps and forces will lead to what is called “creep” in the roto-molded plastic over time which in turn will create pathways for leakage of the pressurized air at each aluminum to plastic mechanical interfaces at the base and inserts.
