seems like they run about 100 bucks. What goes wrong with them anyway? anyway i could fix it or test it to see if just the cord is no good? I found just the cord for a lot cheaper.

All I can find at Genos is the cord... . which maybe is all i need. Can't seem to find the actual heater. Found one on ebay that might be an option for about $70. would rather buy from a more trusted source so i know i'm getting the right thing.

If you need just the heating element (not the wiring harness), then the part number is 5003619AA and the current price is $50. 98 from MoparPartsAmerica.com (a Dodge dealer).

If you need the wiring harness, it's part number 4798889 and the price is currently $37. 14.

thanks john but it looks to me like that might be the intake heater for startup. Im looking for the actual block heater you plug in at night when its cold.

Nope... I gave you the correct part numbers for the block heater element and the associated wiring harness.

The intake air grid heater element part number is 4762012AB at $124. 20 each.

I picked up a new element from Cummins and it don't seem to get very warm, the original one got alot warmer. Are there different elements that are available that get warmer? Guess I should say higher wattage.
