Folks, it look's like I have to work each and every weekend in December, which means I won't be able to attend a weekend Christmas Party, but, that doesn't mean there can't be one!



I'm looking for a volunteer to help honcho a X-mas event - just need to set up a place and date/time and, of course, be there to help organize, etc. Bennetts in Denver has always been a good spot. I'd also like to open it up again to the Ramcharger Central bubbas. Any volunteers??

Even though I'm scheduled to work each and every weekend in December, there is still a chance I can get away. Is there a collective 'yes' for a get-together, or is there no interest?



What about maybe a get-together at someone's house? Maybe not necessarily a dinner, but maybe a lunch BBQ? I dunno, maybe there's just too much going on?



Are there any Holiday parades in Denver - something we could all participate in? Bring the rigs, toss some candy?? Could combine that with a lunch thing maybe??

Sat, dec 6th would work the best for me. I'll chat with the wife and maybe she'll team up with me and we can help ya get er going max. Either way I would like to help with it. I'm out of the loop on stuff like prize give aways and such, but lets get some suggestions on what ya'll would like to do. If someone knows of a good spot for some tug of war-SPEAK UP. I have a few heavy duty straps to use.

The CPSC was thinking about trying to do a Christmas party, and we always love doing things in conjunction with the RMTDR folks.



I am looking at December 20th, mainly cuz Alan will be out of town until Dec 15th for work. We were thinking about a mexican restaurant in Ft Lupton, but we could look at other places as well. Just trying to find one that is not swamped on a Saturday night can be difficult.



What do you guys think? If I plan it, will you come? Ya know, my hubby is one of you now (CR guy), although he does still bleed blue.

If we do the 20th, and my schedule doesnt change, then I can't make an evening meal as I have to be at work by 5. My schedule is supposed to be changing though so I might have the whole day off, but till it actually happens... ...



If you build it, we will come... ... ... this might be the best way to get stuff going again. Let me know if you need anyhelp. I have been starting to have severe truck fun withdrawls and would like to help get some stuff going round here-haven't even pulled up beside any competition at a stop light in forever.

Careful what you wish for. There's a 97 white Ford with a pink door that will be out and gunning for trucks fairly soon. :-laf

LOL. Don't worry - I feel your pain. Everytime he gets into the Excursion now he makes fun of it, saying things like "what's wrong with this thing - it won't go". The punk.



You know us, we are serious about our trannys. BTS all the way. Alan truly has the best of all worlds (in our eyes). Old body style Ford, BTS trans, CR engine. He's gonna be happier then a pig in slop once he gets the twins on and gets it all tweeked just right. Oo.

Shay, I'm not sure I can speak for all the RMTDR folks- few have posted either way regarding a Christmas Party - but yes, if you have a gig I'm certain some of us will be there and happy to attend. I'm currently scheduled to work but I will try to squeak out for the party.



I'm trying to get back in the saddle here on the TDR, and I appreciate your including the Cummins Crew in your activities.

Nope, not going through that again, plus no more $$$$. When my engine goes, I've got Alan's old engine waiting in the wings.
