DIESEL selling in Albuquerque for $3.05/gal.

A few mornings ago getting off from work and heading home in bastrop tx, i saw to my disbelief at a mom and pop store the diesel was 2. 89/gal and now a cheveron and shell too.

Its $3. 39 here in Bothell. Oil is going to be in the 50's sometime in the next few days. Anyone remember how much diesel was, last time oil was in the 50's ? Anyone want to be that it never gets close to what it was ?

I was just in Yuma till 5 November and Diesel was $2. 74 in most places. Gas was as low as $2. 59 but mostly $2. 67.

My wife and I just got back from Las Vegas, NV. Diesel and gasoline were much more expensive in Nevada and Arizona then in New Mexico. Diesel in Albuquerque is selling as low as $2. 55 and gasoline is selling as low as $1. 95 per gal.

I second that. It's only a matter of time. It did feel good to fill up for $2. 55 a gallon yesterday! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for even lower prices.

While I was filling up a nice fellow pulled up in a good looking lifted Ford 4x4 crew cab long bed and HUGE tires. We struck up a conversation about fuel costs and he commented that $2. 50 fuel cost sure helped his 12-14 miles to the gallon. I just smiled as I thought about my 18. 5-21.
