Well looking for help? I was pulling a horse trailer full of old news papers that would go about 12 to 15,ooo lbs when I hit something in the road with the left front tire and blowout. what a ride. after the tire swap I started it up and the knocking started. I have no lose of power or oil press I have a code of 2509 flashing.

I wonder if some debris kicked up and pulled a wire. Check all of the electrical connections around the fender. The computer is also mounted to the block on the left side. Good luck.

checked all that I could see need to find out how many there are so if Iam missing one that mite be the cause .

Ok news flash I had the truck running and was pokeing around put my hand on the first injector and could feel what felt like something hiting on the end of it. Then I grabed the other 5 one at a time and nothing like the front one big diffrence. now what

If you are talking about sharp pulsation feeling when touching an injector line that's normal, #1 pulses a lot more than the rest of them for whatever reason.

Allso as the motor was runing I touched the exhaust on each cyn and all were hot to the touch but the #1 .

Kinda sounds like you may have in issue with #1 cylinder.



Probably an injector problem.



What year and how many miles? Any mods?

2006 3500 6pd 150,000 I had it the shop about year and a half ago they replaced 3 injectors lift pump and injector pump. Oh and it is a 4x4 not that it would make any difrance. Well with MR. J Caspers input my next question is can a bad injector make such a nocking noise and if so why did this happen at the time of a blow out?I have pulled the injector and taking it to be tested. what should the compresson range be on this @ 150,000 miles

Yep that was the bad apple. Should have the new injector sometime tomarrow and the big test shortly after.
