Quick hotwire to start

Brother is puting Diamond REO body on a 93 Dodge /Cummins . He wants to what needs to be powered for starting. Where is the fuel pump located? elec. or mechanical?

LP is mechanical on the engine. IP only needs 1 wire to the solenoid. Just above the high pressure head, below the AFC.
