Cummins has replaced the one piece manifold with the two section unit. Is this old news? Is this manifold the same as the aftermarket units out there that sell for much much more?

I just bought one to install onto a 2000 model year school bus. Everyone of my OEM units are split... ..... or leaking at the end ports.

Part numbers 3943872

... ... ... ... ..... 3943875

270. 00

Hey Dude,

I've heard of aftermarket 3 piece but not the Cummins 2 piece, interesting. What was the price?

If you wouldn't make those buses run so well the drivers couldn't get them hot enough to crack the manny's!!!

BTW, did you ever hot rod the Fed Ex or UPS man's truck?

Love your bottom quote.

Godspeed,
Trent

This will fit any of MY engines with the VP-44 injection pump. I have not tried to install one onto a Dodge truck egine. I know that they look the same.

The cost is 270. 00

I looked at one of these 2 peice manifolds from Cummins a couple of years ago, and if I remember right it moves the turbo forward. I think its for an industrial engine. Thanks Steve B.

I chased the serial no. down and the Dodge engine requires a different casting. No Cummins Two-Piece available.

By the way...

From the many adds I have read in the TDR magazine, there is no three piece aftermarket. It is two piece. Who has a three piece unit for the 1999-02 engine? Maybe I missed something... ... ... ... ...
