Been running my Smarty, Jr since shortly after I bought the truck this February, and have nothing bad to say about it so far.
Just uploaded the new REVO tune today, after tweaking the new adjustable options as well, but I can't comment on that yet since I haven't driven anywhere since.
Definitely noticed an increase in MPG on the Economy setting, but as everyone else says -- that's contingent on whether or not you can keep your foot light on the skinny pedal.
Bob,
I have questions about the new adjustable options for the Smarty, Jr. , if you have a few moments.
After reading the information on this page,
MADS Electronics - Smarty - CaTCHER - REVO, I'm confused by the brief (mostly one-word) descriptions of the options.
For example:
The Smarty Jr. says Injection Timing # 4 - Advanced ( more timing advance than level # 2 ), but the Smarty S04 says Injection Timing # 4 - for fuel economy ( more timing advance than level # 2 ).
Can I safely assume that the Smarty, Jr. level #4 for Injection Timing is for better fuel economy also?
Another example is the Torque settings... I can only guess as to what Mild, Soft and Light represent. It doesn't necessarily look to be a progressive increase/decrease of Torque?
I guess the overall question/point is that without trying every possible combination of options, is there a way we can get a bit more info on what to expect from the different settings? That page is the best info I've found so far on what the options represent, but it still leaves me guessing a bit, and I don't think I'm alone in this.
Thanks for everything, as always.
