I had a problem with my old CAD and replaced it with the posi lock system. This year my post lok keeps jumping out and won't stay engaged.

What is the best way to get rid of the CAD alltogether?

Is the 2002 dana 60 a non CAD differential?

Will it swap right in?

I don't know the specifics of the '02 D60, but I would imagine that the problem would be in the placement of the axle seals. The CAD axle uses a seal just inside the CAD housing, while non CAD axles use seals right next to the differential. The axleshafts in non-CAD axles don't have a raised and machined surface for the seal to ride on.

Posi-Lok also has something that I think is called the perma-lok or something like that. It permanently locks your CAD in. I have also heard that you can take it apart and turn around the fork but I haven't tried that.

It may just be a matter of adjusting the cable length on your existing system?
