My brother blew 4th gear out of his NV5600 & got a rebuilt unit installed. The shop who rebuilt it can rebuild his old NV5600 & they are gonna work me a deal. I'll be converting from NV4500 to the NV5600. I am in the middle of doing body work/paint on my truck & don't have time to search the forums. Can you guys give me some answers to these questions?

1. Will my 241DLD transfer case bolt up to the NV5600?

2. Will I need to buy a NV5600 transmission mount or just modify my NV4500 mount to bolt in the NV5600?

3. What needs to be done as far as making the speedo work?

4. What is involved in the driveshafts?

Thanks in advance. Also, if you have the parts needed, let me know if we can work a deal.

Having done this myself I found the instructions on line and I will see if I can find them again for you. 1. The 241DLD bolts up just fine. 2. Check the crossmember mount my 99 already had the correct mount on it and the longer wire was there for the reverse switch. 3. Nothing for the speedo since it is at the rear axle. 4. You need to shorten the rear by 6 inches and lenthen the front by 6 inches. Also what spline is on the input shaft to the transmission 1 1/4 or 1 3/8 you will need the clutch for the correct one. Now would be a good time to go to a SBC that will hold. Also you will not regret the swap it's the best thing that I did since I do pull around 10k from time to time. Feel free to pm me for any additional questions.

Awesome, thanks man. I already have a sb3600 12cb with 1 3/8" input. I would appreciate that link, thanks again.
