Home electricity?

I would have died of a heart attack I think.

Make sure to look at the new video in my recent post to this thread (#26).

I'm curious to know what you guys would have done in that situation.
I don't know. I would have either not been able to keep quiet and scared them away, shook so bad they would have seen me or crapped my pants so they smelled me. Either way I wouldn't have been able to pull that off.

I am not a great outdoorsman.

I'm pretty sure this is a hoax. Look at the hunter's face (pale huh?), and at the end of the video, look at his left hand holding the bow. It's un-natural and small, plus the same pale color. I don't think the hand is holding the bow properly. I believe that this is a manequin. Probably have been putting apple licks or some other game "candy" on this thing for a couple days. Remote control cameras are pretty common now in the hunting world...

Then again, I may be wrong. Just my opinion.

Watching that video reminds me of when my son (about 9 yrs old at the time) and I were white tail hunting in a hog infested area. I had him on the ground with his back up against a pine tree. I was up a hill about 50 ft. with my bow. I saw a BIG doe come in behind him and walk all the way up to the tree and sniff the back of his neck. I knew it was a deer, but he didn't. His eyes were SO BIG... I busted out laughing and the deer ran off. .

I surprised a mama moose (with baby) in ID on my mtn. bike and was nearly that close for an instant. I stopped about 20 feet away and as soon as she headed my direction, I took off. Of course I was pretty ignorant to their disposition, but somehow sensed her tension and left at the right time.

I just watched it again, because it does look like a manequin! The hand look's fake also, but if you watch carefully the first 1 or 2 second's, he twitches his head slightley to the left! I think it's real. You'd think holding the bow that long, his arm would start to wobble or start to go down a little. Crazy video!

I just remembered, as a kid, camping in Yellowstone, in a pop-up camper. There was a heard of buffalo walking through the camp site, and one came right up to the door and looked in for about 10 second's. I remember my dad telling me to sit still and be quiet. I could feel my heart pounding! The best part was when it walked away, it tripped on the wood marker stump's around the camp spot, and caught him in between his rear leg's, if you know what I mean. I think it grunted a little. Obviously, as a 8 year old, I started giggling. Great experience though growing up! :-laf
