When did Dodge change to the G56?

what would the build dates be when Dodge changed to the G56? i am looking at a truck that has an 8/04 build date and it apparently has the NV5700. also, when did Dodge start using plastic intercoolers? I have seen a few of those on some 2005 trucks.



I assume this truck has the 325/600 engine too...

The early 2005 had nv5700. Sometime in 2005
