Uneven Tire Tread Depth – Should I be Concerned

Some guys are trying to put a dyno day together probably for the first Saturday in February, not a set date, finally something up here for us to do. The dyno is $850 to rent for 8 hours so the more trucks the better. They are trying get an official head count to go ahead and reserve the dyno, we will just split the cost depending on how many trucks show up, if 10 trucks show up it will be $85, if 15 show up $57 and so on. If you are interested let me know or I can give you the number of the guy putting it together if you want more info.

I would be interested. Have you posted this anywhere else? There are several guys on the cummins forum that would be interested.

Please post more details or pm me. Thanks.

This just got posted on cummins forum:

Date is set on Febuary 21st @ Complete Auto in Lubbock. We will have 8 hours to dyno, duallys will not even have to pull the rear wheels is what the guy running the dyno said. It will be $60 for 3 pulls, if you guys want to do some tunning hopefully we will have some extra time at the end of the day so you can. West Texas Diesel Performance will be giving somthing away for the top hp on fuel for the day.

I think there are several guys in the Seminole area with some high-hp trucks that would be interested. I don't know any of them, but used to read some of their stuff on this board...

HBarlow ought to be good for a run... . He's in Lubbock.

I'm in New Mexico, but will drive over...

I would love to make it, but San Antonio Rodeo Starts there, and I will be running the US Smokeless Tobacco Tent out there... Y'all should come down when we get the Texas Rally 2009 planned!!!

I talked to crewgirl (anna) last night she said Dr. performance is putting up $500. 00 towards a module for top nitrous horsepower.

I didn't see this until today or would have replied sooner. Thanks for thinking of me but I'm not really interested in dyno testing or power modifications. My C&C is not a high performance truck, just a basic factory stock tow vehicle for my fifth wheel.

I might have stopped by to meet some of you and watch but I bought a farmhouse on the far east side of Crosby County late last year and have been spending all my time out in the country. I see the location has now been changed so I guess I'll just have to read the reports some of you post later.

I hope everyone enjoys the dyno day.
