Filters are mounted on 1/8" plate which will be mounted perminent to frame.

I used flex plastic conduit to protect oil lines. I also like the idea of running the hoses away from the turbo side of the engine which is much hotter.

Also be advised that this is not the way AMSOil recommends the install. You may also notice a single drop of oil on the bottom of each filter. Don't be alarmed, I filled each filter with oil before installation and I am sure a little ran down the body of the filters.

A question for both of you. On the dual filter system, the side for the bypass filter has a plug with a hole drilled in it to limit oil from entering the bypass. The main filter side has no plug. I tried to unscrew the plug at installation time but could not get it to break loose. Since my factory filter is doing most of the filtering I don't think it would hurt to remove the plug. Due to the limiting effect of the 3/8" supply line I don't think a lot of oil is getting to either AMSOil filter.

Your ideas?

As I looked at your first post, I thought you had the (BMK-22), which is the "Dual-Gard" Filtration System. This system has the restricter Orifice plugs in both sides where the filters screw on. The purpose of these restricters is to reduce the flow, and maintain pressure of oil to the filter elements, which are much finer filters. (2 MICRON)

apparently, the mount you have was designed as a "DUEL-REMOTE", where the one filter element is a "FULL-FLOW", meaning the entire flow of oil is flowing through the element at a high rate of flow, (NO RESTRITOR PLUG) and the other with the restricter Orifice plug, again used to reduce the flow of oil to that filter element.

As I see it, you are not getting the filtration you want, as this system was not designed to connect it the way you have it connected. Again, in my opinion, you would be better off getting the BMK-22 mount, which you can buy separately. In the long run, you would be better off, rather than try to modify the mount you have.

I do have the mount made to replace the original filter. I am not using it. As long as I am getting a flow back to the oil filler cap I am satisfied. Below is final installation to frame.

Your install looks very impressive! You may be getting oil flow back to the fill cap, but is the oil going thru by-pass by the amount that is required for superior filtration? There is a ball-check valve within the filter mount you have. This could cause what I am trying to convey too you.

Here is a picture of the ball-check valve inside the filter mount:
