After sitting for a few months (the trailer, not me:-laf), I ran the slideout on the trailer in while I was treating the rubber seals. The slide out comes in painfully slowly, but goes out fine. Could this be a hydraulic valve that is stuck? Or am I missing something easier? Everything seems to be in alignment, and I lubed the gear track.

Check your battery(s). May need a charge or you have one or more bad batteries.

The slides draw a lot of current and the ac/dc converter will have a hard time supplying enough current if the battery or batteries are down or bad.

I don't have the batteries on board right now. I'm just plugged in to shore power. I'll put the batteries back in and see if they are needed in the equation.

These are the kind of cheap solutions I like! Thanks

I think you may have solved your problem by re-installing your battery or ies as previously suggested by another poster. Too much current for your converter to assume without a battery source backing it. Lights and minor amp draws are Ok to a point, but large amp draw items are definitely out of the question.
