Has anyone ever tried a Wilson intake manifold? I am unfamiliar with them but have been give some information and told that they are incredibly efficient. I was hoping someone could tell me if they are a worthwhile investment for mileage. Thanks.

i have been running one for about 1000 miles,i am very happy with the results so far. It looks like it has improved my milage 2 mpg, i will need to get a couple more tanks of fuel thru it to be sure. also i had to turn the smarty down to sw. one to keep my clutch from going away (definitely more power) . I have also noticed lower EGT,s across the board. john g

What did you have before?

i had a glacier diesel intake on before, put it on my brothers 05,it helped a little on the EGTs and was an ok unit. john g

I have been looking at the AFE intake..... However, after reading about the Wilson, I have changed my mind. I plan on buying one in the begining of April! :) So, if anyone has more feedback, please post!

Thanks!

no reason to keep the grid if you are doing the manifold, can only flow as much as the tightest restriction, that being said, the grid will be like a cfm limiting plate on a race car
