To keep the turbo up on boost all the time is going to require a fair amount of fuel to keep enough exhaust to keep it up on boost. Your fuel economy would suffer greatly from this. It is a good idea about once a week to give it a pretty good run to open the turbo up all the way and keep it moving.



thats why its being recommended to leave the eb on all the time. makes it slide from extremes alot more often, keeping it from freezing up.



i read the op's first post about not using it on slick roads... I PREFER having it on then, it actually helps alot, especially in 4x4. now, i wouldnt recommend tow/haul with the auto, but by keeping it on, ive never had issues. also, have you ever seen truckers runnin on big passes on snow/ice? they dont use their service brakes hardly at all... all engine brake/gearing
