AFE Pro-Guard 7-which one

I was looking to replace my stock air filter with a Pro-Guard-7. Geno's offers 2 different ones the pro-guard 7 stock replacement and the AFE Super Stock IRF air filter Pro-Guard 7. Is one better than the other? The price difference between them is a only $. 17.

I have the Super Stock IRF on my truck. With the original filter I could pull the filter minder almost all the way down at will, even with a new element. With the AFE filter, I can't budge it. I like mine a lot.

I'm also running the AFE Proguard 7 SuperStock IRF. I also did a homemade PSM Buick airbox mod. I've checked the down tube a few times. No dust or other contaminants beyond the filter.

No I sure don't. It seems like it was maybe 1 1/2 years ago. I have had my 3rd for 2 1/2 yrs now and did the psm deal maybe 1/2 years ago. You can search the archives or maybe somebody's got the exact mag.

I had the same experience with mine. I could pull the minder 1/3 of the way into the yellow with a new stock filter. I now have 10k on the AFE-SS and it

has yet to move.
