I'm looking for an 6 port valve with 1/2" ID supply ports to use on my twin Ramcharger gas (now fuel) tanks. Something along the lines of a Pollack Item # 42-300 Light Truck 6-Port Motor Driven Valve (Light Truck 6-Port Motor Driven Valve on Pollak ), but with 1/2" ID hose for fuel supply ports instead of 3/8".

I like the design of the Pollack because with the flip of a button, it switches both lines simultaneously, avoiding cross-tank contamination. It even switches the fuel tank senders so your gauge reads whatever tank it's feeding off of.

Anyone have a source for such a valve?

Don't know of a source for 1/2" electric selector valves, but here is a link to a manual selector valve that might be of interest.

SELECTOR VALVES

It is from Anderson Brass. I have thought of using one in the past, but never have.

I tried the electric valves and had a problem with a 1979 Dodge Van. I switched tanks and the guage switched but the tanks did not. The short of it is I had to have the van towed. I changed the fuel pump thinking that was the problem - NOT! I finally traced the problem to the valve and replaced it with manual valves.

On my '93 CTD I elected to go with manual valves and they have been trouble free for 5+ years. They are mounted on the floor right next to te drivers seat. I can easily reach down and switch them on the fly. The fuel level guage works off a SPDT switch mounted on the bottom dash near the unused ash tray and reads off of the factory guage.

I once had a Ford pickup with dual tanks , gas version (it needed the two tanks).

Everything rusted to crap on the truck or wore out..... BUT the electric tank selector valve and gage worked flawlessly even though it looked like a big ball of rust!! :-laf Go figure, they at least got one thing right!
