04.5 injectors in an '03?

whats the difference in the 04. 5 and up injectors vs. the 03 and 04 injecotors? Will the 04. 5s work in an '03 if you put 03 style nozzles in them?

i am unsure if they will work or not. i do know the 04. 5 has more injection events but i think that is just ECM differences and not actually injector. what's the purpose of you wanting to do so if i may ask?

I found a set of used 04. 5 injectors for cheap and was gonna put 90hp '03 nozzles in them have the tested and put in my truck. I have heard that the 04. 5 injector bodies are stonger that the 03 and 04 bodies.

The injector bodies are identical, same part #.

Yes the bodies are the same, the nozzles are different (different number of holes and the spray angles are different). .



The PN's are the same, but they injectors were updated as the years went on...

TWhetten I would have to say they would work fine then if it's all the same part #'s
