Just going to share this story with you. So I'm at my jobsite the other day when the pool delivery truck shows up. He's got a 2008 3500 set up with goosenecked trailer to hold anywhere from 10-40 foot fiberglass pool units. I began talking with the guy while we waited for the uloading and install crew. I asked him how he liked the new 6. 7l since he owned a 5. 9l before. He mentioned how he loved the power of it and attributed the new power in part to cummins v-8 design. I said "what are you talking about"? He insisted this was the new cummins v-8 and that the dealer sales guy told him so. After some back and forth he said I'll bet you $100. Luckily for him I'm not a betting guy and you and I know that wouldn't have been a fair bet anyway. So we raised the hood to settle the dispute and you know the rest is history. He was devasted. I then proceeded to share with him the benefits of TDR and suggested he join immediately since there is a lot of stuff he needs to learn. Especially the newer engine with all of the emission devices. Once again, beware of the dealer. Perhaps the Mazda dealership will be more knowledgeable. That's were customers are being pointed to when the local dodge dealer closes around here. Hope you found this story humorous as I did.
