My new to me 1993 W250 Club Cab LE Getrag 5sp. I will take care of her. RIP her late owner who lived to 92 years of age. I haven't done a thing to it because it has 56K miles and it has original paint still on every part of the engine, pump and sticks, . I've done piston low pressure lift pump, GDS cold side 58mm upgrade, moved my dipricols over to this one, bolted my ricksons on, put new shocks on, replaced the throwout bearing and changed the oil/filter/fuel filter. Going on vacation with it this weekend... And yes the miles are legit. Last truck I'm going to own. It has got a stock tach, compressor, air horns,

Bank$ Intercooler/Turbo 14WG/3. 5" Exhaust. The doors open and close like new, the getrag shifts as tight as the nv4500 I drove, and the engine runs so smooth. Max 20 Boost at this stock fuel level... AFC cap hasn't even been opened.

I think a nice TDR emblem is going to be a great accy...

My Camera Died but I will take more after I detail it. Can you see the four pics?

They're hosted on Picasa.

This is the only other pic I took tonight.

I see a right front 3/4 view and engine bay pic in first post, and speedo pic in the last one. What is that up front, 2 reciever hitches???

Actually it is a receiver hitch, and two hadley air horns. He has an on board electric compressor going to a tank under the right side of the bed and switches in the cab for the compressor on/off and another switch to change from stock factory horn to air horns, either activated by the horn on teh steering wheel. here's smaller pics of the left 3/4 and interior, not sure why you can't see the other two... 5 pics total.

Thanks,

I've put about 2000 miles on it so far, took it from CA to Tahoe, then off to elko NV, then to Yellowstone, then JAckson for a spell and now staying overnight in park city, UT. with the 14 WG housing, 58 MWE cold side, Bank$ intercooler and stock pump I can't get it over 1000 EGT pre turbo pulling grades with the cabover camper! It is a bit anemic though. . max boost is 20 psi. (stock of course) I haven't even touched the fuel pin because the factory paint is still on the afc cover screws...

Running like a champ.

But I have a few things to do to it when I get home...

Put Borgeson shaft on

Fix Cowl Cracks ( I can hear em on the pax side)

If I get real ambitious I will remove flywheel and bore for an input ball bearing and replace rear main seal

Do the KDP fix and replace front crank seal.

look for a ramcharger reinforcement plate for the steering box mount...

Install 9/16" wheel bolt/studs - all 32

The Getrag is having trouble shifting into reverse sometimes. . May be a topcover or shift fork problem. Will have to pop the cover of that when I get it down for the flywheel work.

The sachs is like brand new. I took a look at it when I pulled it all down to replace the throwout bearing which I thought was the vibe feel and noise when pushing in the clutch at high RPM but it didn't fix it. I'm afraid the bronze bushing is compromised...

This rig isn't my daily driver so I'll have it down for a while to take care of all these chores and have fun with it. It is a great great machine and I wouldn't take any other one in trade for it no matter what Gen it is.

cool truck, great find, a guy down here bought one just like yours, a Dr. bought it new for his wife to pull a 2 horse trailer, she passed away and now he has cancer, put it in his yard with a "for sale" sign, fellow I met bought it for $4,000 cash, had 62,000 miles, looked like it just came off the show room floor, I don't know why I can't find trucks and deals like you two

good luck with your truck, it's sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I won't offer to trade since you said you wouldn't

Gorgeous truck man! Im not a fan of Ricksons, but they even look good on it! All the 1st gens I find are used, and used VERY well. Old ranch trucks; high miles, beat up, interior trashed. Some day Ill find a diamond in the rough and have a nice 1st gen sittin here

Thanks Dieselman 359! I will look at getting that new version of the brace... I will take a run around the junkyards tomorrow morning - if no Ram Chargers (I saw one in the Rancho Cordova pick n pull last time I Was there) I'll order the new one...

Do you guys know that our fellow member Mysteryman was the one who designed that brace?

So far I've had the truck down for a bit but it is back on the road, I've taken care of:

- New rear main seal
- Bored Flywheel and inserted quad 4x4 pilot ball bearing
- replaced the clutch master cylinder rod with a threaded/adjustable one to raise the clutch pedal height to brake height to get full throw of the throwout bearing... .

Fun stuff. . I didn't think I'd need to do too much work on this low miles truck but the project list is long and continuing to grow. .

Update for you guys, Sold the truck to a rancher in Roswell, NM for 17K back in 2011. I finished the '72 crew after that, and sold it in fall of 2011 for 10K. Bought a 1992 W350 CC LE in Nov 2011 and sold that fall of 2012. Threw down on a 2012 Cummins Crew Long bed 3500 SRW G56.
