I'm sorry. . I don't have a clue what your talking about unless maybe you mean a waste gate for over pressure on the boost???

On turbo gas burners, there is typically a releife valve (called a Blow Off Valve) that releases intake pressure when you lift off the throttle so that the intake pressure does not back up in the intake and slow down the compressor.

you really dont need one like you do on a gasser, since our trucks dont have any throttle plate or butterfly valve in the intake. The boost pressure has more places to go unlike hitting a throttle plate and having basically no where to go whatsoever! The BOV relieves this huge spike in pressure.

Would it help out upon a hard lift and WOT max high boost... sure, is it worth the money, not IMO since you need a special controller to open and close the BOV since our motors also dont make vacuum like a gasser motor does which is what they use to open the BOV up.

I am hearing from some guys that their turbos still choke up a bit and lose up to 30,000 rpm when shifting on a manual trans truck.

Does anyone run one?

Some folks are running a pressure relief valve in the ports of their intake horn. It is a safeguard to keep from blowing the headgasket.

I believe if you Google "Watts 530 or 530C adjustable valve" you can find them for about $30. I would think you may need two, to get rid of the volume you would need to, to save your head gasket.

I thought about using one for fun, attatch a whistle, or a duck call to it:-laf:-laf.

It stops all barking caused by quick deceleration, which was a lot of the time for me. It will not stop the barking when on OD to Lockup at WOT. But for the most part eliminated my barking daily driving which I what I was after. I turn it off at the track.

I wonder if something like this might be a solution to the turbo failures that are affecting some manual transmission trucks equipped with a pac brake. There might be a link between lifting off the accelerator quickly and the failures, though it is too soon to tell.
