When did BFG bring out there E rated 285/70R17. They are E rated and hold 80PSI. I am kind of kicking myself in the butt, cause I kind of wanted a 285/70 but couldn't get a BFG or Michelin in the E Range. Oh well, I guess I have something to look forward too when I put new tires on the rig. Glad they are stepping up and bring the larger size tires up to E Range. Makes it easier to swallow putting them on our trucks. I like my current tires alot, but the 285/70 is a perfect size for in between the 265/70 and the 285/75's. Scotty

Didn't know it until you posted it. We just put a set of Michelin AT 2's in 265 on the '04. 5 last weekend. I'll have to look in to the 285 BFG's when I need them on the '07.

I really like the AT2's, but would have preferred a 285/70 for my truck. I checked and Tire Rack has them listed so it seems true. Hopefully my AT2's last a long time, but if they don't I will go with the BFG's next time around. Scotty

Had the 265 AT2's and the KO's side by side at the tire shop and basically had to flip a coin to choose between them. I'm interested to see how they wear also.

So far I have around 7K on them and they are awesome in heavy rain, and trailer pulling duties. They also work well on wet grass and mildly muddy trails. They seem like they will be great on snow and stuff. The only real question I have is how they are going to hold up mileage wise. Hoping for the best. Scotty

We'll, I can't expect them to wear as well as the LTX AS they replaced but I'm hoping they will do fairly well. That truck has 160+K on it and this is now just the 3rd set of tires. Can't kick about 80K+ per set.

Now what I will not mention is how many times that truck has been pulled out with the loader with those old AS's on. :-laf
