Is this program still running?. . I just found this thread in a search and would like to find out if my FASS 150 SN# 5190 is covered under it... If the program has ended can we still buy the update kits?

TIA

Dan,

I'm having an issue with a vendor not cooperating with me with regards to FASS warranty. Is there a way to contact you or to straighten this out?

Thanks,

Mike

Bought the HPFP 150 back a couple years ago and just now getting round to putting it on. Seen this thread and decided to get it updated before I put it on. Serial number is 1253. Bought it from TST Products. Do I send it back to them or order the update kit and put it in myself or send it back to you or what ?

Thanks for the reply. Got in touch with TST today and they give me the ok from you guys to send it back. Just wanted to make sure before sending it out. :)

Sent the pump out Wed afternoon. Got it back today (Tues). Wow . Thanks Diesel-Dan. :) Got no excuses now. Got to put it on tomorrow. Put fuel pressure guage on this past weekend using the banjo bolt on bottom of the fuel filter. With Tst on 5/3 pressure drops to 1-2 psi. Hope this is why I seem to lost power and fuel economy. I'll see if I get it back after I put the pump on. THANKS for the quick turn around.

I lost fuel economy with the new fuel that's on the market.

So unless you can buy some "low" vs "ultra low" , I'll bet you'll still experience the loss of fuel economy after the pump replacement - sorry to say.

I also had a pump on the way out, but replacing it didn't change my experienced loss of efficiency with the ultra low crap oil. I can't get anything but that around here.

I heard in other areas, the "low" is still available.

Strange... I had this mod done back in July... It made the pump louder!

Have there been any new updates since then?

The only time a FASS pump is quiet, is when it's turned off. This is my 3rd one and they have all sounded like they are mixing cement.

well mine is loud!!! Its always been loud and A couple buddies of mine have the filtered wersion and cant even hear the pumps at all. Quiet as can be. Not much louder than a stock lp

Hahahhaha That is freakin funny. Mixing cement. I have had many aftermarket external pumps including race cars and none of them have been quiet. Even Holley, Aeromotive, Walbro their all loud to some degree but they do the job. If noise is a factor then build a box around it and install a couple of heat extracting 12v fans and the noise will be a thing of the past.
