Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) FASS Fuel Tank Pickup

I have a FASS that I bought many years ago and upgraded to the quieter motor a few months back.



I see that the new ones now come with a fuel tank supply pick up tube.



Do they work better than the stock one?



If they do, can I just buy one of them?



If I can get one, is instalation hard once the tank is dropped?



Will the fuel tank level sending unit still work on the old unit or is that included with the FASS pickup tube.

They allow more fuel to be moved to the pump.

If they do, can I just buy one of them?

You can! The part number is STK-1001 and they usually run about 40 bucks.

If I can get one, is instalation hard once the tank is dropped?

No. The installation is not difficult at all. If you can drill a hole you can install one of our suction tube kits.

Will the fuel tank level sending unit still work on the old unit or is that included with the FASS pickup tube.
