Hi Harvey,
I know that you are not on a very fast internet connection, but try to get into Crutchfield.com. They seem to be at the leading edge of aftermarket replacement stereo equipment and I believe that you can call up one of the Tech Specialists and get an affordable solution to your needs without a bunch of extra stuff that you don't need. I have purchased from them several times and have received top notch product and service. My . 02 worth.
I will tell you that I recently purchased a Town & Country and it is mandatory that I have the rear video screen for the grandkids, Thing 1 and Thing 2. The factory DVD requires the MyGig system with it and boy, do I ever love that set-up. Has the flash drive, aux input jack for I-Pod, etc,. The neatest thing about it is the ability to copy CD's into the hard drive. For example my son stops at the house not long after I bought that van and was proudly waving his new AC/DC cd under my nose. I said "Let me play that" and crammed it into the MyGig, pushed the copy button, and sucked it into the hard drive. I said "Thanks for buying that so I could steal it, be careful what you wave at me!!". Some of this new stuff really is great. I like it well enough that I will consider replacing my factory radio in my CTD with a MyGig or the aftermarket equivalent if it ever craps out.
My Sirius contract will not be renewed as I would rather put the money towards music that I like and can share between my radios. Lately (post merger) they don't seem as good as they were.
Mike
