The kit from GDP i want to get is the one with the 2 mic filter and the water seperator. Are you saying that it would be more efficient if i install it before the Air Dog? I wonder what the farthest distance from the tank the AD could be installed, and if i did install the GDP remote kit before the AD would the pump be able to pull the fuel OK through the remote set up?

Thanks alot AH!

Ok, Here's what I would do, Keep the Airdog just the way you have it Now, install the Factory canister, either change the banjo's (BIG ONES) on the bottom of the canister and inlet on CP3 and keep the factory line Or install the GDP big line kit, You can always change the filters on the Airdog to your liking. If you change one of them to a Good Hydroscopic media filter and install a downstream pressure gauge, you will not need the water separator, Of course this means that when you see the pressure dropping the filter is getting plug. I think this will be more user friendly than finding some place to install the device and watching and draining it. .

Cheaper too. Thanks Todd. If i was to go with the GDP filter and W/S should i install it before or after the Air Dog?

Are you talking about the dual GDP setup?

After, it's much easier to push through than pull through. I would not mount it on the frame unless it was completly protected.

Actually many of the f/w seps are designed as vacuum filters, they work is pressure apps as well thou. But f/w seps like to be on the vacuum side as the pump emulsifies most the free water, making it harder to separate.

Until Bio-Diesel is Pump... Bio-Diesel is Mandatory here in MN 10% 2011 5% now, how long before Bio-Diesel is nationwide, by the way MN Bio-Diesel is one of the most advance fuel in the world, if other states would produce their Road Diesel to this standard most fuel issues would be Gone.

I have replace those aftermarket filters in extreme cold several times until the owners tell me to remove the entire system and install what will work in all conditions and weather.

Yes the 2 mic filter with the F/S. Is this a good idea?
