what's the name of the...?

I actually had my motors replaced under warranty, but love the set up. In the winter it can't be beat. I pulled my alternator today without touching the fans. Here is the trick. After removing belt, take long bottom bolt out about two inches. Cut with hacksaw or die grinder. Remove bolt, After replacing alternator but new bolt in from rear, I used stainless.
Its M10 x 1. 50 Four inches long. Works like a charm and less work!

now that you guys have a year or two on them how are they holding up?

I love the Flex-A-Lite 262's on my 1999. Would never go back to a stock fan. I was running slightly higher temps in the hot AZ summer at first, but realized the grill inserts I was running were the cause. Changed to a style with larger flow area, and voila. I pull 10k, and no cooling issues so far... <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Mine have performed flawlessly since they were installed back in June of 07. They were installed for s different look for show season and instead I recieved one of the best mods I have done to my truck. After all the miles and wear and tear I think the ONLY thing I would do differently with the fans would be to have the shroud clear powder coated to help maintain the shine as its a PIA to polish after winter driving,LOL... ... P. S. -DCreed. . Did you ever sell the twins you had advertised with the Turbonetics top charger?.
