truck stolen for 2 days

My truck was stolen when a supposed friend needed it to haul a trailer a short distance and was gone for 2 days before police found it, luckily nothing hurt nothing broken or serious except it had a bully dog triple dog down loader loaded and who ever stole the truck didn't realize that to steal the down loader that they would have to download it back out of the truck, which they didn't do . but they did take said down loader and its gone#@$%!,, and now How do I get this setting out of my truck so I can put my smarty in any ideas would be appreciated ... Dang thieves

Call BD, They will send you the factory Program (of course at your expense) then when it arrives call them they will walk you through the steps necessary to remove and correct.

I'm not sure if its happened in your neck of the woods,a local distributor was offering free downloads to try Bully Dog out,then erase it from your system after you've decided what to do.

The VIN is lost in the old DL, it would be dangerous to attempt without the correct VIN.

But, I have to ask why you would lend a truck out to a supposed friend?

Man, nobody drives mine without me in it. Just to costly to repair/replace, and too much power for some people.

The VIN is lost in the old DL, it would be dangerous to attempt without the correct VIN.

The vin is only logged not erased by anyone

The try before you buy is smoke and mirror and is not advised except of a cheap trial

OK Bob,The TD was stolen, So with the correct unlock code it could be used again,So why contact BD ..... if the TD serial and VIN was recorded with the agent, BD could block it from being used again,If the TD was put on Ebay and resold through some Pawn shop or sale another person is the victim... Bob do you know what type of security the owner had on the truck???? By belittling this situation that its a simple fix you could easily make it worse. Bob Why did you not Just PM the OP with your solution to help?



OP if you purchased through a dealer (Authorized) that knows what they are doing with BDs product they can reverse this in less then 10 minutes, if purchase from a 3rd party you may want to contact BD.

I like Bob , and I don't have any issues with Him or Mads electronics ( Personal or business)... All of us are guilty of jumping ahead from time to time.
