Boost Fooler/Smarty Jr Info

Just for kicks I when I had my Smarty Jr off of my truck to update it, I just tried running a boost fooler on it and ran the truck without it too.



Without the fooler and my 351(modded wastegate) I saw 26psi. Spoolup definitely seemed quicker than the 341 with stock program.



With the fooler it would exceed 35psi. This is the same peak boost as my Smarty Jr will do on either the tow or performance tune.



Egt I can't comment on as I wasn't towing and it was -20C.



I can't wait to try the new 5. 10 program not sure on the changes but we'll see if I notice any.

Since he has an 03, I believe he's referring to his stock turbo vs 04. 5+ turbo.

JJ is correct I have the HE351 turbo off of the '04. 5 and up trucks. I have the boost elbow allen screw almost all the way in. Definetly a good mod for the early trucks. The truck runs ok without the smarty but it runs like it should with it. No fooling, no hiccups, just smooth safe power addition along with a couple mpgs.
