I actually took the time to research some of your posts in the political forum. I can understand your anger toward some of our immature members who have shown you great disrespect. I understand your frustration and I sure the hell wouldn't want to be called a Democrat.

Occasionally I must admit I get carried away when I see people doing things I think chip away at or freedoms. It may seem I am anti-government at times and actually I am not. I do see how I can be viewed as anti-government though. What I am is wanting the federal government follow the Bill of Rights and Constitution as our founding fathers intended. When politicians, Congress, Presidents, Courts change them to infringe on the individual rights it is a problem for us all for there own political gain.

I do not read or post on the political forum but do on occasion get carried away if I feel people posting UNAWARE they are supporting the degradation of our personal rights. So in this regard I plead guilty!!!

Having said this I support others differing opinions because these discussions result in middle ground and understanding for us all. I support anyone's right to leave TDR for what ever there reason. For me personally I have had awesome discussions even if at times some what political revolving usually around government regulations be it federal, State or Local. Mostly though have learned a tremendous amount technically about my truck and received help numerous times making the $35 yearly invest more than a fantastic investment.

I like to say I am not Democrat, Republican, Liberal, Conservative rather a dang proud American. I support our troops even though I do not necessarily agree with the war!!!! I am scared to death of the budget deficit and the fake Monopoly money called US currency. Sooner or later when the dollar has less behind it it is going to fail. SORRY!!!

I will defend anyone's right to come and go to this group or others as he or she feels fit to do to the death. I will and do respect their opinions(posts) with just as much zeal. Sound extreme? I do not think so in regards to personal freedom as long as it is within rule of law. Remember we are not a democracy but a republic which is based on a set of fundamental rights and a democracy is not. I will not though support personal attacks as this has no place in any setting. J&L Ram thanks for posting your opinion and good luck sorry to see you go as we need people as yourself here. TDR keep up the good work your tremendous work and effort is appreciated.

everyone is entitled to their opinion, and some people may find that opinion offensive, you cant fault the tdr for allowing people to post their opinion, however if you do not like the direction the site is going and wish to leave nobody should fault you for that, that is your opinion and your right. seems alot of people are hating on you for voicing your opinion and feel its wrong for having an opinion contrary to theirs. kinda doesn't make sense does it?

I find the TDR to be an invaluable resource to help diagnose and fix issues with my truck. I've had the opportunity to exchange information with a lot of different people and have made friends through this website. I'm getting to the point of being able to help others as I have been helped. I don't have an issue with opinions expressed in the political forum. I do have an issue regarding the disrepectful and almost hateful manner with which some people choose to express those opinions. However, I'm blessed with the FREEDOM (let it ring) to read or not read that forum.

Take the good and pass it on. Learn from others' insights. And move past any material that brings no value to you.

That's what TDR is all about. It can be a valuable source of information if YOU WANT IT. Searching out information of benefit to you and your truck. Me, I'm a Second Generation owner so I am not interested in the 2010 models, I don't go there or spend the time to read about the new Dodges. Maybe I will someday???



Regarding J&LRam's decision:

It's your loss. It's unfortunate today that I see liberals as a whole are becoming more demanding in their quest to get things done their way. To what expense??? My brother in law is this way. He had no problem voicing his sarcastic opinion, on a regular basis, as to his dislikes during the Bush administration. I did not vote in the last election and now I'm quietly watching Traditional America erode. Cap & Trade, Healthcare, and now trying to relinquish American Sovereignty. I have myself to blame.



That will be the last time I do not vote an election. I do not voice sarcastic opinions of mine to my brother in law regarding obama's current coarse of actions. I'm making sure people like my self who didn't vote in the last election vote in the next one before all of America as we knew it 10 or more years ago no longer exists.

As I recall the political fourm has a "warning" posted next to the title. If you enter that fourm I assume that you have read that warning and decided to enter anyway. If you find some of the comments or tirades, which ever description you choose, to be offensive and not to your liking you can continue reading them & become embroiled in the discussion(shouting match) or simply stop reading-----it's YOUR choice. The complaints that you have are such a small part of the overall excellent information that this site and their publication have to offer one would have to wonder if there are not other reasons why you need to announce your departure. I don't agree with everything that is written or said here either, but I don't fold my tent and run away because someone hurt my feeling or said something that I didn't like. I think the only way you will ever have a conversation, where all your ideas and thoughts are agreed to, is if you talk to yourself! Sorry to see you go, if I ever see you on the road I'll still wave or stop to help you out, but for now---see ya.
