5th Wheel Tailgate?

Bring enough truck......

These are supposed to be the same as the Odyssey..... they get great reviews... Had Very Bad luck with everybody else's Deep Cycle - using for an electric trolling motor..... and I know they are very $$$ BUT they do have an unconditional 3 year warranty... . full exchange...

I have these in my '01. Has only been a year though, so I can't vouch for longevity yet. I can say however that in spite of running my Webasto heavily this past winter, the wait to start light was never on as long as it used to be; and the truck cranked and started very well even at -35. So far I have been very pleased with them, only time will tell whether it was a smart purchase or not though, as they are not cheap by any means!

did u get the impression that hacking on the case of the battery would cause warranty issues down the road in the event of a failure? and would it be ok to mix one of these and one regular lead acid - "cheap" battery? or would the one platnum be ok by itself ?

$390 in batterys is hard to swallow, especially when u have to bucher them up to shoehorn them into the factory boxes...

I wondered about warranty issues on the battery, but I figure if the battery comes up defective they will replace it I am sure as the plastic cut away has nothing to do with battery functionality. Whatever you do, DO NOT mix batteries, it's a recipe for disaster. There are plenty of folks just running one battery without any issues, but as cold as it is here I want all the cranking power I can get; as well as the power needed to run my Webasto...
