P0628 lift pump control circuit low?

I've been searching the site and can't find many answers so far. Any suggestions with code P0628- Fuel pump relay circuit low, or fuel lift pump control circuit low?

BTW, this is my 2nd truck, a stock 2003 with 201,000 miles and it dies at random, usually on the highway, and takes 5-30 minutes before the lift pump kicks in and fills the filter canister with fuel. Basically, the lift pump is randomly losing power and I haven't found any wiring/fuse/relay problems yet.

How many miles on the lift pump? I would say it is probably on it's way out.

This is actually a fairly new pump with almost 15,000 mi. but it is a possibility that I got a dud though. I'm gonna hook up a test light and check some things. Thanks for the help guys.

Another thing is I think there is a fuel pump relay in the fuse box, might try changing that out?
