Besides spending 18. 99 on Royal Purple is there any synthetic diff fluid for the Dana 70 with Limited Slip that already has the modifier in it?

I use Amsoil and did not need to add modifier. I don't know if it already has some in it or what. I do know that some say they added modifier and some did not and was happy. Mine is a Dana 80 but don't think it makes a difference.

I used RP in past untill price almost seemed to double. now using redline synth 75/90 around 9$ where I live it has additive in it already. have used this for at least 2 1/2 years now.

I used Amsoil in my D70 and now in the D80 in my current truck with good results, and both had limited slips. I think any of the quality synthetics would be just fine.

good ol plainn valvoline 80/90, never a problem. seems crazy syntetic cost 5x more then dino?if its syntetic you go out to the wharehouse and brew up a batch. dino you send men and women to the ends of the earth and drill till the end of earth and pay 3 bucks a QT.

Another vote here on the Redline, great stuff.

x 3 on Red Line. 75W-140 or 80W-140.

Can someone post the links to the specific gear oil I need for my LSD from amsoil and redline so I make sure I am looking at the right products.

Red Line Synthetic Oil - Gear Oil for Differentials

the products with the "NS" suffix do NOT contain the slipperyness additive; all others do.

Just don't run the redline shockproof for every day street use, its an excellent oil, just not going to be slippery enough for our LSD clutch packs to work right.
