ABS and brake light comes on

This week my abs and brake light has come on but goes off and comes on again. What can be wrong?? Pedal feels a little squishey and vibrating as if on ice. Jim

sounds like a wheel sensor and or speedo sensor. Is the speedo erratic?

take it for a short drive. 5 miles or so and see if the front hubs are hot. If so they need to be replaced.



Can you hear a hum from under the hood when the pedal shakes?

Does it shake all the time or just while moving?

If there is some one close to you with a SMARTY they should be able to pull the codes for you.

My break and ABS lights did the same. Checked with Smarty, no codes. I cleared the codes that were not there, with Smarty, lights went out.
