How many miles on auto transmission???

I downloaded and installed the TNT. My truck now idles at 750 instead of 800. When i accelerate and let of to shift the rpm's come down very slowly. I also can't boost past 26psi. I am going to load the stock sw and see what happens. Any ideas? Thanks.

This is friggin great. Now the Revo i downloaded from the site won't load and i'm stuck with the stock program WTF When i try to load an SW it says error can bus communication error inturupted or something like that and it loads the stock program b ack. WTF WTF WTF

Hmmm... have you double checked the connections? Try disconnecting the batteries for 15 minutes and trying again.

Some people say that for some trucks Smarty will not do boost fooling, and you have to have an MP-8 or something for that.

That being said, on my '06, I have no problem hitting 50 psi boost with Smarty TNT-R, or 60 psi with a little TST added in.

Hope you get it figured out...

Try the download from the site again, sometimes it garbages a file and it doesn't show until you try to load it.

i DOWNLOADED IT ALL OVER AGAIN FROM THE SITE AND NOW IT IS ok. I loaded the TNT tune but it still idles at 750 instead of the 800. No big deal, as everything else seems to be OK. I do not like the fact that i cannot boost much. I am up to 32psi right now and as soon as it hits the 32 my EGT's go from 1000 to 1400 in a split second. WOT of course. I have a quadzilla boost fooler hooked up but obviously it is not doing anything? The light is on on the fooler which supposedly means that it is working. I need to figure this out because i need another 6 to 7 psi at least to keep it all cool at WOT or a heavy load. I do have an EZ laying around but i don't know if it does fooling and if it is worth it to add it. All suggestions welcome. Thanks guys

What fuel mods do you have to support TNT? Is running TNT a must?
I prefer regular Revo over TNT, especially for towing.

A few points to consider:

-You need the proper mods to run TNT.

-TNT wasn't designed for towing heavy.

-Stock turbo is out of it's map at 38-39+ psi. Arguably ok for an occasional dyno run, but not good for sustained use towing.

Yeah, sometimes the download just has glitches. Its a computer thing that will drive one nuts.

At 32 psi it sounds like for whatever reason the WG is still opening. I suppose its possible the BF is bad. Did you turn off the WG in the Smarty options?

You are running a analog gauge, correct? No possible leaks on it?

For a quick check, clamp the boost reference hose on the WG actuator closed with a small pair of vice grips and see if that helps.

All of my gauges are analog. I turned the WG off. I checked every single hose and fitting for leaks and nothing, nor do i hear any boost leak sounds. I have a feeling the WG is the culprit. I will try the vise grip idea right now and report back in 1/2 hour. TY C

I have AD II with adj. fuel pressure, sage two CP3, T & C modded pop valve, DDP 50 tips, and a BD Special on order. I think i am OK with my mods to support TNT. I have it set on SW5 TQ2 T2 RP2, which is very mild. I tow 6000lbs very day and it pulls fine according to my fuel and egt gauges. The only problem i have is boosting past 32lbs which i am very confident that i will resolve with help from some pros on this site. I had the revo for a long time and iam bored and want more unloaded. If you don't think that my mods will support TNT programming let me know what else you would suggest to help the situation. thanks

I think you are over-fueled for the air you have now. TNT not only fuels more, it fuels harder/quicker. You might search and ask questions about TNT on Comp-D, if you haven't already done so.

I agree that is why the Suber Bee Special is about to be ordered next week. But in the mean time i would like to get the proper boost out of my stock turbo which is easily capable of 42 psi which i used to hit with my old Edge Juice. it may be hot air above 40, (guessing) but i still have an 8psi cushion not being utilized right now.

Then the turbo will spin quicker and build boost faster. Over fueled will not drop the boost like that. If it did it would block out the sun with the smoke.

You don't NEED all the extra parts to run the TNT, you need them to make full use of all the tunes. The HE351 will support 40 psi easily and a little bit more without issues. Even if the temps run 80 degrees hotter in the CAC at 50 psi it would take a dyno to see the difference.

Asking questions like this on CompD is like asking for a beating. One would never find a straight answer in all the BS it would generate.

Hey Cerb, i capped off the WG hose and i am still seeing only 32psi. Everything else seems fine. The tune is very smooth and the smoke is not bad at all. I really like it5 and it is a draStic power increase from the revo software. On SW5 i am not draining the rail at all and my lift pump pressure stAYs betweeen 13 and 15 psi. I think i'm ok in the fuel department. I may temp. plug in the edge and see if i could boost to 42 like i used to with it. If not then i know its not the Smarty but if i do then what?

Todd from T & C just had a good idea. Map sensor might be acting up, I have an extra one in the gayrage. Going to install it shortly and i'll report findings.

Thats a possibility and it is defueling. If that doesn't work take a look at the WG acuator and see if its adjustable, maybe the spring has gotten weak in it.
