Wow, Test drove a 2011 Ford 350 SRW 4D today and all I have to say is Wow. Great power, quiet and good ride. :-laf

Buy one and tell us about it.

You'll be able to provide a lot of good entertainment for your Ram owner friends.

not to be a antagonist, but your current ride is a dually with 19. 5 g or h rated truck tires , and you are comparing it to a sw with 10 or 8 ply tires. Plus you have a big honkin exhaust which I am almost sorry I bought, So your thinkin a stock Ford is quieter and better riding? Not Apples to Apples.

Not to be an antagonist either, but I think Cumminz is antagonizing also. He loves his truck... . and he should! Don't think he would ever cross over!!

They ARE quiet, IF you like that sort of thing. I also test drove a F-350, and I thought I was going to be impressed with it's acceleration, but wasn't. Perhaps I'm a bit spoiled?:D

Mickey- I don't think there is anywhere in my post that I was comparing my BFT with the Ford 350. It was a very clear open accessment of my first test drive/ride in the new 6. 7L.

For a stock engine with 3. 55 gears I thought the power was impressive.

Alan, You are right I will not cross over. My wife tells me often we are driving our retirement truck.

LETTER FROM MY FORD DEALER LAST WEEK.

Click here to view PDF of order sheet and price.

Dan,

It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday and I hope you will find that I have priced this truck very aggressively for you.

Because this is spec'd for you and we would order this unit, the rebates that are available at the time of sale, will be what we use for final pricing. Invoice is our starting point for pricing.

If you will review the order and delete any options that you don't want and send back, I will re-spec for final review.

Dan, for 2011 FORD has added the 5th wheel prep. pkg. (53W)

this includes:

frame under-bed cross member

five pickup bed attachment points with plugs

one integrated 7 pin connector on the driver's side pick up bed wall

Please don't hesitate to give me a call or email any questions that you may have on this truck. I think you will be happier with a truck you have built verses buying what on a lot with options of no use to you.

Let me know what I can do for you.

Thank you

Bonnie

I would love to just one time, take that 1066 with about a 24 foot tool bar, sink it down about 6 inches in a fifty acre patch of stubble, pull the throttle out all the way, bend it over, let the clutch out in about 4th gear and hang on!!:)
