"RVer runs over friend twice, killing her, before fleeing

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Sacramento Police Department arrested Darryl Alexander, 50, and charged him with vehicular manslaughter, hit and run, felony DUI and parole violations, CBS13 reported.
Alexander allegedly got into his motorhome while drunk just after 10 p. m. Friday and backed up over a woman. Witnesses told police the man then pulled forward and ran over the woman again, fatally injuring her.
According to the Sacramento Bee, Alexander drove from the scene and later abandoned the vehicle to flee on foot. He was captured by an officer who happened to be in the area.

The victim died Saturday morning. "

The headline should have read

"Cracked out society drain runs over drug using pal" I'm not so sure he was an RV enthusiast, kind of sad they made that connection. I remember reading this a few days ago. I just had to comment because i didn't want people confusing this with any kind of an accident having to do with sane honest RV'rs. This was common California street trash.

Harvey,

How do you kill somebody twice??

Look, there are 2 commas...

Ran over friend twice , Killing her , before fleeing.

Commas make the sentence make sense

Look again where the comma is, Cumminz. If the comma had been before twice, your question would have been appropriate. He ran over her twice, not killed her twice. Or maybe you're just being facetious?!? My fifth grade English teacher Mrs Gibson would have to buy red pencils by the gross to correct the "Anglish" on tdr. (axel for axle, your for you're, tangling up break and brake, misuse of apostrophe, etc)

Then there is this news from my province.

GOLDEN (NEWS1130) - Six people are dead and two are injured after a two-vehicle head-on collision on Trans Canada Highway east of Golden Sunday afternoon.

Around 11:30 a. m. , a mini-van with six people on board was traveling westbound on the highway when it crossed the center line and collided with a motorhome going in the opposite direction. All six people in the mini-van died at the scene. Two people traveling in the motorhome were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators suspect that driver's fatigue or inattention may have contributed to the crash. They say neither speed nor alcohol were factors, however. It is known that four of the six passengers in the mini-wan were not wearing seat belts.

RCMP is not releasing the identity of victims at the time.

OK all, before we turn this again into "how stupid are you" discussion? If you read very carefully the very first post I was not questioning the correct headlines I was questioning the original headline in Harvey's post.

Read it again carefully. This is one of the reasons a lot of folks on this forum get offended. Statements are made and others read these statements about as careful as they "spell". No one was being called stupid.

I suspect you are precisely correct. Probably crackhead street trash using an old $800 motorhome as permanent housing moving from one shopping center to the next every few days as local cops jerk his chain.

Yeah that area is a real toilet. They use those old motor homes as mobile meth labs, and not having a place for their PO to track them down. Because they're then also "homeless", California falls over itself trying to give them benefits. Maybe i've become calloused but i read things like this and laugh, then count the days till i get out of here.

Do you stay up at night trying to think of ways to be a worthless bag of crap?

I don't believe I've called anyone stupid. There have been posts full of grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors that were full of good in-depth knowledge and insight in everything concerning our trucks. Those posters most definitely have my respect and admiration. Mark
