We're going to need more information in order to help you. We can assume you own a Dodge-Cummins but what year is it? The electrical systems vary significantly between years.

If your TIPM is already tripped the answere is no, theres no way anybody can reset it without a star scan tool.

We ran a trip wire from each of the wires off the back of the truck... used this to trip relays that were powered from the battery... we also used this power to charge the battery in the trailer... thus doing it faster than the tiny wire in the wiring harness...

There is an upgrade (software) for the TIPM to change when it trips... . you might check with your dealer. .

once you get it reset make up a isolator circuit and you will never have that trouble again. it will cost you about $50 if you need a diagram pm me your email address
