And thanks for all of the help over the last 3 years! TDR and the members on here have been great companions for my experience with the 6. 7L CTD.

Now, I'm not going all that far. I have replaced my 2007. 5 2500 6. 7L with a 2010 Bright White Power Wagon. Awesome truck!!!! I hope that someone who will use and push my old truck will buy it.

I posted this in the 6. 7L forum, because this is what drove my decision. I just can't use the 6. 7L engine the way it needs to be used.

If anyone is looking for some brand new filters (air, fuel, oil), I have a set that I will sell for a reasonable price. PM me and we can work out price and shipping.

that should work out great for you, just put alot of gas in it, drive it, enjoy, turn the key & go, and anything that goes wrong with the emissions should be fixable & the hemi won't need a reflash of course the hemi has been out longer than 3 years

I test drove a pw a while back (just to get $50 outta dodge) and it was convienent to test drive it as my '08 6. 7L was in the shop again at the time...

there are people who can drive the 6. 7 as intended (the Canadian rockies comes to mind) but for those that don't it can be a troublesome experience not sure if I'll ever forgive dodge enough to buy another of their vehicles, time will tell

Congrats on the new Power Wagon. I parked a few spots down from one in downtown Pittsburgh yesterday. Very sharp looking truck. :)

I tow with my 6. 7 only a few times a year. . the other 99% is commute. . I do drive about 10 miles on the freeway at freeway speed. . not crawling. . and so far it seems to do good. .

I can sometimes sense when it is doing a passive regen as the mileage goes down a little. (Has never went to Active regen over 70%. . have 12K on it now). . then the next day it shoots up. . Doesnt have to be driven hard all the time. . just long enough to get it warmed up at speed.

Way cheaper price?!?!?!? Are you kidding me??? This Power Wagon cost more than my 07 with the 6. 7l CTD. As for gas, I have not seen a huge difference yet, but I don't take my truck on long drives very often.

yah the pw package is expensive. how were they on coming off the price?

I test drove one, didn't get into negotiating price, but figured they'd claim it was the only one around, which is somewhat true as they don't have too many pw's in stock - at least in my area

Ooops!

Yeah,I must have thinking it was a non-pw in the pricing dept. They are loaded with practical options though.
