Uhhm, errrr, What happened??

Are there any reliable alternative mechanical pumps available that dont require a cam change?

Have been waiting patiently and am ready to look at one from the competition at this point.

I would be interested. I also have a FluidDamper, -8 line from the tank and some back to the tank. When do you expect to release them? Thanks, Sam.

"I'm pretty sure a fluidampr isn't compatable with a mech. fuel system like this. "

Well, I have a fluidampr and I have running the mechanical pump for ~ 6 years. I think they say it is not because there is not much space for clearance, and you have to be very careful mounting the mechanical pump, but there is enough clearance, about 1/8" between the gimler belt and the fluidampr when running.

I think it is the only solution that truly works over the long haul. I would like to see the mechanical pump put somewhere in the engine compartment so there could be more clearance and easier to work on, but that is not the case.

It would be cool to mount one in the unused bell housing access hole. The one you use with the barring tool.
