:DJust bought new 2010HD 3500 Laramie crew cab dually with 6 speed automatic. First automatic I have ever owned, so far I like it. I'm looking for LED tail lights; any advise as were to locate them.

Thanks

Don't get the ones listed above on ebay (sorry). I had that style before. I have a bunch of them stored away. They do a horrible job lighting the sides. Get the tower style. I have them on my truck They have been going strong for years and are brighter than factory. On my 04 I had to install resistors to keep the bulb out light from coming on. Unfortunately I had to install four of them, one for each circuit.

I was talking to the owner of a 2010 with a utility bed on the truck and his question was, can he run LED's with out a resistor in the circuit?

Thanks,
Dave

That problem has been plaguing the aftermarket for a few years now. In short, no, you can't run LED's without some form of a resistor or incandescent bulb installed. A lot of flatbed guys simply leave a regular bulb in the circuit tied up to the frame somewhere and painted black. Never see it, yet the truck sees the resistance of the regular bulb and is happy.

ON second thought I think my factory lights are just fine. Leds are over rated... ... . :eek:Thats why I always check my link before offering... ... . LMAO... ... ... ... ... ... ...

LED towers with a blue LED in the center.
Much brighter than stock... . even in the daytime.
